Couples portraits in Downtown Annapolis
ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND -
The neat thing about photography is it oftentimes doesn't feel like work.
I went to downtown Annapolis on March 24, with my mom and we met up with Dave and Natalie, the brother and sister-in-law of my hubby's BFF. We've been talking about collaborating on a portrait session since 2014, when I took portraits of Dave's extended family at Quiet Waters Park.
Having known the couple for years, the session was very relaxed, silly and more like a social visit. My mom provided me with lighting assistance and added comfort to an already relaxed environment.
This session is part 1 of a two part series, the next of which will take place in Baltimore at M&T Bank Stadium and Oriole Park at Camden Yards. For a pair of sports fanatics, that session will no doubt produce some epic shots.
Not that we need the extra options after a very successful first session. We met at the docks about two hours before sunset, eventually made our way up to Main Street, and finally over to West Street where the sunset colors were most prominent.
