Family Portraits at Oriole Park at Camden Yards
BALTIMORE, MD --
My favorite family is back with a vengeance.
Ben, Cassie, Wyatt, and Henry once again decorate my portrait photography portfolio and blog pages and I could not be happier with the results.
This year's family portrait session took place in downtown Baltimore, Maryland, both in and around Oriole Park at Camden Yards. It was a perfect setting for a family of baseball fantatics.
We started our shoot early at the Brooks Robinson statue on Brooks Robinson Plaza. After we made our way to the Eutaw Street entrance of Camden Yards and everywhere in between.
Months earlier I had arranged for a 45-minute tour of Oriole Park at Camden Yards for the sole purpose of taking family portraits there. After making our way around the outside of the stadium for about an hour we met our tour guide, Wayne, who brought us down to the field near home plate.
Under no circumstance were we to touch any portion of the grass on the field, but anywhere on the warning track and within the dugouts was fair game. We even took a few shots outside of the clubhouse and team weight room.
My buddies, Wyatt and Henry, got to take home a few really neat souvenirs when they found empty bubble gum wrappers in the dugout left from the players after their last home game of the 2015 season. Wyatt even spotted two rogue baseballs in the empty stands, which he and his brother were allowed to bring home.
